  • Lee Seung Gi held a concert in Japan only 3 months after debut, making him the fastest new artist to hold a concert there. (read more)

  • After wrapping Queen In Hyun’s ManJi Hyun Woo prepares to enlist for the army.


  • Contrary to reports, Kim Myeong-min (Beethoven Virus) is not returning to television – just yet. He has received the offer and is reviewing the script for SBS’s The King of Dramas, he has yet to make a decision on whether or not to accept the proposal. The drama is about about the harsh and oppressive working conditions faced by drama writers, staff, actors at a broadcasting company. It’s airing was rescheduled to later this year.
  • City Conquest grabs 10 Million USD , thanks to Kim Hyun Joong’s overseas popularity. Kim Hyun Joong (Playful Kiss) will play Baek Mir, a young man abandoned by his father and grows up with anger. Despite his wild personality, he has a soft spot in his heart. City Conquest is still completing the cast and planning to start filming next July in Japan.

  • Kim Jae-won (Can You Hear My Heart) who had a to take time out due to his shoulder injury while filming the MBC’s Me Too, Flower! is coming back for another MBC drama called May Queen. May Queen is about the love and passion, betrayal and revenge of a man and a woman who were born when the shipping industry was in the middle of development.
  • Song Hye Kyo (The World That They Live In) is considering to star in upcoming drama Bicha. The story was written by In Jeong-ok (Beating Heart).
  • Jung Joon Ho (The Queen of Reversals) will be playing the role of Gi-cheol, a high authority person in the Koryeo times. He is a character who wields absolute power and conflicts with Choi Yeong (Lee Min-ho), maintaining tension throughout the drama, Faith.


  • Lee Min Ki (Chilling Romance) has been cast in Only You. It’s a love story between a female burglar and a male police officer.
  • Lee Min Ki’s co-leader in Shut Up: Flower Boy Band Sung Joon also has an upcoming movie entitled Pluto. He plays Yoo-Jin, a smart, charismatic teenager, but one with a destructive rebellious streak. He leads a select group that only 1% of his peers can get into. Meanwhile, a murder takes place at a prestigious high school. The filming started on June 9.
