I love shows about youkai and priestesses. There’s something about it that gives a mellow rustic vibe.

Expectations: Low

Verdict: Middling-Good

Summary: Makoto met Gintaro when she was four. She has the ability to see him because she’s the successor of their shrine. A girl in Makato’s class asks for her fortune, which Makato gives with Gin’s help except it fails because she left out the most important tidbit. She got into fight with him and later apologizes for it. Gin helps her out with another problem to show how she’s forgiven. [Gingitsune%2520-%252001%2520-13%255B2%255D.jpg]

Thoughts: I love how their approaching heralds and shrines as forgotten culture. It’s true how people only go there when they need something. It looks like how to communicate the ideas of Gin’s world will play a crucial role in this show. Makato has a lot to learn before she can become a full-fledged oracle. She jumps into conclusion and forgets to use her head.  There are a lot of high and lows this episode has but I’m sure this show will be able to deliver some broad complexities in the episodes to come. [Gingitsune%2520-%252001%2520-16%255B2%255D.jpg]
