Action thriller drama Three Days has secured Yoochun (I Miss You) as the lead, a president’s bodyguard, an elite agent who is fastidious when it comes to his job. Park Ha-sun. (Two Weeks) is still considering the role of a tough local police officer. Sohn Hyun-joo (Covertly, Grandly) is being courted to play the kidnapped president. Jang Hyun-sung (Who Are You) is being courted as well, to play the senior secret service agent and Yoochun’s boss. The new drama from writer Kim Eun-hee (Ghost) and PD Shin Kyung-soo (Tree With Deep Roots) will follow the Blue House agents’ harrowing chase to recover the president after he disappears from his vacation house amidst the sound of gunshots. Three Days is planning to pre-produce half of its 20-episode run.Three Days is planning to premiere in February 2014.

SBS cancels its flagging variety show Barefoot Friends. Barefoot Friends’ last episode will air on November 17, and K-Pop Star 3 starts November 24.

KBS’s Sunday variety show 1 Night 2 Days is also losing its main MC, Lee Su-geun and probably Yoo Hae-jin, Sung Shi-kyung, and Kim Jong-min. will departure from the show as well. The show reportedly had been considering replacing three of its existing members and bringing in three new faces. The producers were aiming to bring in the replacements by the end of November. Furthermore, the turnover extends to the crew as well, with a new PD and CP being brought on to take over for Season 3. Up for the new cast are Rose Motel’s Yook Joong-wan, SHINee’s Min-ho of, and singer John Park. The last trip with the current lineup will be shot on November 8,

SBS’s upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama You From Another Star cast the second lead in Choi Min (My Love Madame Butterfly). He plays Park Hae-jin’s younger brother, a second-generation chaebol who’s engaged to Jeon Ji-hyun’s diva actress. You From Another Star follows Heirs and premieres in December on SBS.

MBC’s upcoming drama Miss Korea has just added Lee Ki-woo (Virus) as a shark with corporate takeovers, and also a hunter of ladies’ hearts. He’ll present himself as an antagonist. The drama, which comes from the Pasta and Golden Time producing team, will air on Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning in December.


Lee Jung-jae (The Face Reader) and Shin Ha-kyun (All About My Romance) will play enemies for action thriller called Big Match. Lee Jung-jae stars as a martial arts fighter who joins this mystery game where he fights for his life and his brother’s. Shin Ha-kyun will be playing Ace, a bad guy who uses cutting-edge technology to turn the whole city into a game board. The project comes from writer-director Choi Ho of Go Go 70s, and is also courting pop star BoA (Anticipate Love) to play the heroine. Big Match starts shooting in December for a 2014 premiere.
