A bit melodramatic, but still interesting nonetheless.
Summary: It starts will a tearful send-off for the young pilots training to search for the End of the Sky. This refers to the Isla, a floating island which Kal-el, the fallen prince came from. He now goes to the pilot school with his fake sister Ariel. They have a bickering and close relationship. Whereas there’s heated tension when he sees either Nina Viento or the silver-head dude. He later meets Claire and spends time with her.
Thoughts: This anime looks like one, which is meant for long discussions. Our hero, Kal-el has so much issues. I’m bothered with the quick personality shifts that Kal has when he interacts with different people. He treats everyone differently that its hard to see who the real Kal is. The divide between nobility and ordinary people are markedly noticeable. Its nice how we see a bitter side since he came from nobility and fell from grace. What exactly happened for Kal to get to where he is right now? Anyway, I didn’t enjoy how overdramatic some of the scenes were like the one by the lake. Too overkill. If they tone it down, it shall work out in the end.
